Pet Obituaries and Wakes. We understand and we likewise feel that our pets are not only our treasured friends, but they are part of our families too. When a pet dies, or must be euthanized to alleviate suffering and prolonging the inevitable, the grieving process is as real and as intense as the loss of any other family members. This is especially true for those pets we have had and treasured for a very long time, who have brought us comfort when we were sad, companionship when we were lonely, and joy and pleasure with their and play and unconditional love and affection. We remember our pet family members many years after they are gone. We wish others to remember them as well and to have some place where others can read about our pet family members and to offer us condolences. We have created this section for you to post your remembrances of your special pet family member. We hope it helps you a little, if you can share a brief history about your pet family member, so that they are remembered and you can share some of the love that was given to you. We have also created a section for those who just lost their pet family member. We have done this in two forms, to give you the opportunity to chat with others, to help you process your grief and also another special message board, so you can talk to others about how you feel about your loss and perhaps to make some new human friends. We know this can't replace your pet family member, but perhaps we can give you a way and a source to help process your grief, share stories and help give you comfort that your pet will be known and remembered by others and that others care and have empathy with you.
